UNCLASSIFIED POSITIONCURRENT VACANCY IS IN JUVENILE COURTDIVISION: PROGRAMMING & GRANTSEducation and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related field and four or more years of progressively responsible administrative experience involving making decisions and providing issues analyses and recommendations or a related area, including two or more years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licensing Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license within 30 days of becoming a resident.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Requires knowledge of principles and practices of supervision. Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Theories and principles of basic mathematics. Principles and practices of business and/or public administration. Principles and practices of recordkeeping and records management. Methods used to conduct research and/or statistical analyses. General office equipment, personal computers, and related software. Requires skill in supervising assigned staff. Organizing and prioritizing work and coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously. Developing and managing budgets and grants. Preparing and presenting oral and written communications. Resolving complex problems and making decisions. Analyzing issues and making recommendations. Delivering high quality, customer-focused service. Conducting research and/or statistical analysis and compiling results. Using a spreadsheet, database, word processing, presentation, and other software. Building sustainable working relationships with other County personnel, officials, and the public. Communicating effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and the public. Generating enthusiasm and support for program objectives.

Directs, coordinates, and supervises a wide range of administrative functions in support of cross-functional departmental operations including treatment services, personnel, budget, finance, purchasing, information and records management, issues analyses, program evaluation and planning, and special projects. This job description indicates, in general, the nature and level of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act) expected of the incumbent. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
This is the third level within a three-level administrative professional classification series. Administrative Coordinator III is distinguished from Administrative Coordinator II in that the former coordinates and supervises a wide range of administrative functions in addition to supervising professional and administrative support staff, whereas the latter coordinates a wide range of administrative functions and provides lead direction to and supervises administrative support and clinical staff as required.
Oversees a wide range of administrative functions that support the State DUI Court. Works to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of court practices, policies, and procedures that impact court clients, court staff, and the legal community. Designs collect and analyze complex qualitative data.
Processes documents and reports associated with overall operations and provides reports on such information as requested.
Maintains an accurate record of all correspondence and documents. Prepares and distributes various reports and forms of correspondence.
Conducts research and compiles information. Addresses inquiries from other departments and the general public. Analyzes high- visibility and complex issues affecting assigned functions provides advice and recommendations and makes independent judgment decisions to facilitate resolution.
Represents assigned department in meetings, hearings, presentations, and on committees. Works collaboratively with judges and justice partners. Receives, maintains, updates, and verifies information for required reporting.
Supervises assigned staff, including establishing workloads, prioritizing work assignments, evaluating performance, interpreting and enforcing policies and procedures, resolving issues, and administering disciplinary action as required. Reviews and approves a variety of administrative actions and transactions. Interprets and enforces personnel, administrative, and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Develops and manages special projects, initiatives, and major studies. Facilitates workflow and the efficient use of time and effort by establishing processes, guidelines, and rules related to the program or process in coordination with the supervisor. Remains competent and current by attending professional development courses, software training classes, and attending training/or courses as directed by the supervisor. Help to ensure the overall success of the department by performing all other duties as assigned.PERFORMANCE METRICS
