      The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine is a hub of excellence, innovation, and very high in academic productivity.       As Administrative Coordinator, you will serve as our primary administrative resource for our program related inquiries. Working closely with our program leaders and administrators, you will liaise with our students and faculty, draft and edit correspondence and support various programs, projects and initiatives. Your strong communication and organizational skillscombined with your high degree of professionalism and confidentiality will be essential to your success in this role.

      Your responsibilities will include:

      • Responding to inquiries and redirecting as appropriate
      • Researching and analyzing processes, programs and services and recommending changes for improvement
      • Providing detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies, and deadlines.
      • Liaisingwith the students and faculty to coordinate program activities and tracking milestones and timelines
      • Collecting and verifying applications for review
      • Determining logistical details and activities for events and/or programming

      Essential Qualifications:

      • Advanced College Diploma (3) years or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
      • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience, preferably within an academic environment
      • Demonstrated student services experience, including experience supporting education programs and ensuring program requirements, guidelines, and procedures are adhered to
      • Experience working effectively in a fast paced team environment, and providing front-line support to academic leaders and committees
      • Experience supporting committees and events
      • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, SharePoint, survey tools, content management systems (CMS) and virtual meeting platforms


      Assets (Nonessential):

      • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
      • Experience using Asana

      USW Pay Band 10 -- $69,455 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $88,819. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
