- Bachelor's Degree PLUS two (2) years of experience in general administrative office support OR Associates Degree PLUS four (4) years of experience in general administrative office support OR High School Diploma/GED PLUS six (6) years of experience in general administrative office support
- Experience in a healthcare or academic medical setting.
- Familiarity with UAMS systems, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn institutional systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
Coordinate faculty and staff travel, including arrangements, policy compliance, and reimbursements.
Process dues, subscriptions, and foundation reimbursement requests.
Manage purchasing and receiving of office and medical equipment and general supplies.
Serve as point of contact for copier/printer maintenance, phone requests, office moves, and facilities-related work orders.
Maintain inventory documentation, including M&R paperwork and resolution of annual exception lists.
Support recruitment and onboarding activities for faculty and other personnel.
Schedule and organize faculty/division meetings and committee support tasks.
Manage the departmental BTA card and oversee faculty time and effort reporting.
Prepare and reconcile monthly budget reports (book/e-fund), ensuring compliance with UAMS financial guidelines.
Collaborate with department leadership and faculty to support daily operations and departmental goals

The Program Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and program support for the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation. This role also serves as a backup for administrative functions within the broader Orthopaedics department.
