- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the status of multiple Immunization team activities.
- Creates and maintains regional guidance documents and reports for the Regional Immunization Program and Central Office.
- Plans, coordinates, and conducts reminder/recall activities on specific health department clients.
- Assists in the planning, coordination, and application of Immunization Team activities.
- Maintains multiple databases assuring accuracy and completeness. Creates and submits reports to the Program Manager. Utilizes multiple computer software programs in all Immunization program areas. Data entry in multiple computer software programs.
- Creates PowerPoint training for all Immunization program areas. Must present presentations when needed.
- Assists with Immunization Day Care and School Audits. Conducts Day Care and school audits independently evaluating immunization certificates and completing required documents. This requires learning the immunization schedule, policies, and procedures.
- Assists the Immunization Compliance Specialist with the 45-Day School Report
- Assists in the planning, coordination, and application of Immunization Team activities.
- Creates PowerPoint training for multiple areas of the SIMON software program and conduct presentations.

Under the general supervision of the health region Immunization Program Nurse Manager, performs Immunization Compliance Assistance at entry-level and developmental-level disease intervention, epidemiology, and immunization duties for vaccine preventable diseases and the immunization program in the health region. Participates as a health region Immunization Team to assure the federal and state requirements of the Immunization Program are met.

Assists CYI /SLVC Program Coordinator with training, planning, and coordinating School Located Vaccination Clinics.
Other duties as required.
State Minimum Requirements : A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation .Agency Additional Requirements : A High School diploma and three (3) years administrative experience; or an Associate Degree in Secretarial Science or other related field, or at least five (5) years administrative experience.The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively communicate with the public and a multidisciplinary team. Professional competence to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff members and the public. Ability to analyze data and make appropriate decisions. Ability to create and present clear, concise reports. Knowledge of grammatical rules, spelling, business writing, language usage, and clerical formats. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, Email, and Calendars. Possess organizational skills necessary to prioritize, meet deadlines, and the ability to schedule appointments and events. Ability to apply appropriate tools and techniques in quality assurance, improvement initiatives and performance of job duties.
Participates in disaster preparedness as outlined in the DHEC health region and/or county plan during hazardous weather or declaration of emergency. During such times, the employee designated as an essential employee and subject to duty and/or call on a 24-hour basis. Requires use of personal vehicle and a valid SC Driver's license. Position will require extensive travel within region.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.Immunization: All new employees who are healthcare providers are required to provide documentation of immunity or be immunized against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Pertussis, Varicella, and Hepatitis B prior to beginning employment.
State Disaster Plan: In accordance with the State's Disaster Plan, which includes hazardous weather, DHEC employees may be required to work in times of an emergency or disaster.
