Summary
CATS Training Operations is seeking a collaborative, focused and outstanding administrator to be the next Administrative Training Manager. In a rapidly changing environment, the Administrative Training Manager has multiple opportunities to enhance engagement, evaluate and update programs related to de-escalation practices, be on the frontlines of planning and providing services for safety-sensitive operations employees, shape the division through hiring and professional development of staff, all while holding and maintaining the highest standards of social and community services for personnel.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Assess the needs of employees and identifying gaps with regards to de-escalation and services for reporting and policy development purposes Conduct quantitative reviews of training services and ensure programs are meeting expectations with regards to the standards and performance expectations Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives Work alongside administrative team to develop program timelines, implementation plans, and creating impact reports Facilitate provider and program development in collaboration with community resource consultants and other team members in relation to the continuum of training services Work with project and company leadership to establish and manage clear prioritization, sponsorship, deadlines, and resourcing Integrate project plans from multiple sources to create a cohesive plan with identifiable critical paths, task dependencies, and major milestones Understand program and project requirements to coordinate tasks and actions of various cross-functional teams to provide direction, monitor development, report out status and manage schedules and resources to closure Participate in program budget development and monitor status on a monthly basis for projects Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders Conduct performance evaluations of reporting personnel As a part of your responsibility to support the CATS Safety Culture, report safety concerns and issues through the various methods established by CATS as outlined in the ASP.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of current trends and activities associated with best practices for behavioral and crisis intervention. Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of agency objectives. Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions. Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures. Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change. Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, social work, human services, psychology, sociology, or related field Minimum of three years supervisory experience Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
High School Graduate or Equivalent and nine years related work experience OR Associate's Degree and seven years related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and five years related work experience OR Master's Degree and three years related work experience
