- Completes a broad variety of administrative, and research support services to ensure the smooth running of the TCGS office and clinic coordination within required timeframes.
- Critically examines, evaluates, and takes appropriate action on information submitted to ensure relevance, completeness, and accuracy.
- Maintains, and ensures the integrity of databases, information systems and spreadsheets as required for administrative, reports and quality improvement activities.
- Consists of clinical, administrative and research staff who work together to deliver care to the Tasmanian people
- Provides a supportive and inclusive environment
- Provides services across Tasmania from offices located in Hobart

- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
- Experience working in a clinical genetics service or Masters of Genetic Counselling student
- Conviction checks in the following areas:
- crimes of violence
- sex related offences
- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty
- Identification check
- Disciplinary action in previous employment check.

The Tasmanian Clinical Genetics Service (TCGS) is a statewide service providing assessment, diagnosis, genetic testing, management advice, counselling and support for individuals and families who have, or are at risk of having, a genetic condition.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Salary: $71,661 - $77,455 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
