- Manages approximately 40 inbound phone calls daily. Ability to use 2-way radio and respond to emails
- Explains and clarifies rules, processes, and procedures, answers questions, and resolves a variety of problems accurately within a defined scope
- Operates computer equipment to input accurate, valid, and complete data and to examine and evaluate a variety of information to determine correctness, completeness, and adherence with requirements. Verifies and corrects information as needed
- Compile, organize, interpret, and communicate data and results concisely.
- Typing and/or data entry with minimal errors.
- Organizing and managing time effectively.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
- Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of clerical experience.
- Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement.

Solid Waste Management provides trash collection service, hazardous waste removal, recycling, and a composting program for single family Denver homes and multi-family dwellings with up to seven units, municipal facilities, and Denver Public Schools. The agency’s Graffiti Removal Program removes graffiti from private and commercial property and the public Right-of-Way. The Keep Denver Beautiful campaign is housed in this agency. The Solid Waste Management team is looking for a ASA III to be apar of our team.

The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $20.00-26.00 an hour. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but is not limited to:
Location
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. This position may be potentially a hybrid position after probationary period.
In this position you can expect to work on site at the Wastewater Building, 5 days a week.
