- Six weeks (30 days) of paid annual leave per year + additional paid Christmas stand down

- Conduct general office management and administrative tasks.
- Manage and respond to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders and direct as required.
- Undertake general finance tasks in relation to procurement, asset management, fleet management and asset control in line with AFP Governance Framework.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing AFP operational activities.
- Maintaining currency in administration processes and technical knowledge.
- Undertaking project and research work to support AFP business and WSI as required.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of corporate policies, processes and systems which enhance the delivery of AFP operational outcomes.

What is the role?
AFP Eastern Command (EC) is the AFP’s largest regional Command by people, footprint and impact. Eastern Command encompasses a diverse range of operational and corporate support roles, each providing critical support and outcomes aligned to the AFP strategic and operational objectives.
To be one of the most adaptive, effective, and advanced police forces in the world, the AFP is seeking qualified candidates to fill the Aviation Administrative Support position for Western Sydney Airport (WSI).
In this role you will work under the direction of the Officer-in-Charge at Western Sydney Airport to support the day-to-day activities of the team. The role works closely with the frontline members to support the efficiency and effectiveness of WSI, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and maintain effective working relationships.
This role acts as a point of contact for inquiries, escalations and general communications within the team, resolving queries and escalating where required. You will contribute to projects and teamwork-flow to ensure solutions and initiatives that deliver value-add outcomes.
As a Team Member at the AFP, you will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.
