What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Complete police reports for non-emergency events via telephone, virtual applications, and in person
- Conduct follow-up calls for information gathering and investigative purposes
- Provide customer service to citizens by locating requested information and referring them to appropriate departments
- Work on-site with the Virtual Response Unit at the police department
- Obtain DCI certification in module 1 and be proficient in Law Enforcement applications like CJLEADS, NCAWARE, MFR, CAD & RMS
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience with extensive telephone contact
- Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to work a variable schedule, including nights and weekends
- Ability to work before, during, and after inclement weather or other emergencies
