      Responsibilities

      The Center for Learning & Innovation Department is looking for an intern that is looking to participate in education-based research and advanced internship projects. The ideal candidate is tech savvy, and willing to learn new things on their own and be able to readily apply them in a group/team setting.

      1. Participate in administrative functions of the Center for Learning & Innovation.
      2. Attend corporate university courses as specified to improve professional identity
      3. Conduct literature searches and research topics as required.
      4. Develop internal and external communications as required.
      5. Performs other administrative functions as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.

      Qualifications:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
      • Currently enrolled in college majoring in Public Health, Hospital Administration/Management, Business, Math-Statistics, preferred.
      • Must be Junior or Senior in College
      • Prior administrative experience in a hospital/healthcare setting, preferred.
      • Previous behavioral science research background is a plus
      • Existing CITI certification

      Schedule and Location:

      Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm and/or 12p-8p- 40 hours per week, in-person

      Duration: May/June 2024 to August/September 2024, possibility of extension after

      Lake Success, New York
