What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming phone calls regarding eating disorders treatment inquiries and return calls promptly
- Collect identification, referral, and insurance information to assess treatment eligibility
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programming and highlight relevant features to callers
- Manage active leads and opportunities within the database system
- Communicate with individuals or families outside of typical business hours and document all interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental/behavioral health program admissions
- Experience with insurance terminology and the insurance verification process
- Ability to work independently while managing calls and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field, communications, or marketing preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in eating disorders program admissions
- Familiarity with client tracking systems, such as Salesforce CRM
- Compassionate, empathic, and genuine demeanor when working with clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and conscientious approach to work
