What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide advanced technical support to customers through various communication channels, including phone and email
- Independently resolve complex and routine technical issues while mentoring peers on troubleshooting
- Distinguish between hardware, reagent, and software issues to effectively resolve customer inquiries
- Collaborate with the Hematology Supervisor to identify process obstacles and develop effective countermeasures
- Maintain a customer-centric approach in a 24/7 support environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate, vocational, or equivalent degree in biology, clinical lab science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or chemistry
- Minimum of 7 years of lab or field experience
- Proven ability to handle complex issues with minimal supervision and serve as a subject matter expert
- Willingness to work weekends as needed
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience troubleshooting electromechanical instrumentation
- Prior experience in a medical technology call center or medical laboratory
- Background in a Customer Service environment
