      We are looking for a new Co-Op to join our team! The AeroThermal Co-Op will perform CFD, fluid dynamics, and thermal analysis of existing and next generation Engine Control Systems (ECS) and Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS) components and systems focused on military and commercial product lines. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June-December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past August 2024. This position can also be fully remote if the candidate prefers.

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Provide technical and analytical support for ECS/EACS products from preliminary design phase through detailed design, testing & validation, production, and operational services.

      • Perform CFD and thermal of conventional & additively manufactured complex aerospace components

      • Provide documentation of analyses results and recommendations in the form of formal reports and presentations for management and customers.

      Basic Qualifications

      • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

      • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Completion of at least one of the following courses: thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, gas dynamics and heat transfer, thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, fluid dynamics, or computational fluid dynamics

      Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

      Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

      Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
