What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate independent title agencies for compliance with underwriting agreements and state regulatory requirements
- Review escrow-trust operations, title production practices, and transaction files to identify deficiencies
- Prepare and present formal reports reflecting audit results and document processes
- Analyze basic information and standard practices to make decisions impacting work performed
- Support ongoing remediation efforts and perform other duties as assigned by management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must reside in Florida
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
- Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
- Ability to follow existing procedures to perform routine assignments and solve standard problems
- Strong analytical skills to assess risk exposure and recommend corrective actions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the real estate or title insurance industry
- Knowledge of ALTA Best Practices and corporate risk-management standards
- Strong communication skills for conveying audit findings to stakeholders
- Familiarity with financial controls and operational processes
