      ROLE SUMMARY

      Pfizer’s Chief Marketing Office purpose and aspiration is to modernize marketing at Pfizer by developing current and next generation marketers and delivering a best-in-class model that is faster, more effective, efficient, and boosts our mROI. In keeping with this purpose, Biopharma Operations plays a key role in creating Better, Faster, and Smarter Content to support Pfizer’s omnichannel marketing model. One of the most critical drivers of this transformation is to create an industry leading end-to-end content supply chain that delivers excellence across 83 global markets and 4 unique market categories.

      The Agency Strategy & Operations Team has been established to implement Pfizer’s going-forward agency engagement model and will offer marketing and medical colleagues a fit-for-purpose end-to-end creative and production solution for Business Units and Countries. The Agency Performance & Metrics Lead is a key position on the Agency Strategy & Operations Team, and will build and implement a novel and best-in-class governance and performance management ecosystem to enable the transformation of brand strategy, creative development, and tactical execution at scale with Pfizer’s appointed external agencies.

      The Agency Performance & Metrics Lead will strategically collaborate with a diverse, cross-functional team, including Marketing, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Compliance across geographies and therapeutic areas, and establish, measure, and evolve agency delivery and performance. The Agency Performance & Metrics Lead will collaborate closely with Pfizer’s Marketing Excellence team to link qualitative and quantitative performance insights to content performance.

      The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to improving health outcomes, a proven track record in agency management, strong communication and influencing skills, demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex marketing processes, be an advocate for change, and have a passion for continuous improvement.

      ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

      The Agency Performance & Metrics Lead is responsible for the end-to-end performance management of Pfizer’s external agency partners, the establishment of leading and lagging indicators to inform demand/capacity planning and generating data-driven insights to promote continuous improvement.

      Reports to Agency Strategy & Operations Lead, Biopharma Ops

      • Leads Agency Performance & Metrics, globally, to:
        • Actively manage the governance and implementation of Pfizer’s going-forward agency engagement model, ensuring Pfizer has access to top external creative and strategic talent.
        • Regularly perform assessments of delivery against scope, inclusive of quality, timeliness, and cost parameters.
        • Leverage data, including leading and lagging indicators, to enable real-time optimizations to further Pfizer’s content ambitions.
        • Partner with Marketing, Sourcing, and Finance, to establish the governance approach and monitoring requirements to drive best-in-market operational frameworks. This includes ownership of business reviews, evaluations, and other real-time surveys and tactics.
        • Lead discussions with Integrated Agency Teams to provide holistic feedback for agency effectiveness, agency resourcing needs, and budget considerations.
        • Develop a roadmap for Agency evolution, inclusive of external innovation, emerging systems and tools, and other technologies relevant in content creation.
        • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, incl.:
          • Marketing
          • Medical
          • Biopharma Operations
          • Sourcing & Enterprise Services
          • Finance
          • Broader CMO stakeholders

      BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
      • 7+ years of experience in marketing, agency, or related functions
      • Pharmaceutical commercial business experience: in-house marketing experience and agency experience preferred
      • Familiarity with marketing principles and strategies to effectively develop and execute marketing projects.
      • Experience managing agency/vendor relationships in a marketing, sourcing, or procurement capacity

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

      • Expertise in the advertising industry including media, creative, PR, performance marketing, and other key channels/sectors.
      • Expertise in data analysis, including trend identification.
      • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively manage cross-functional teams and external partner relationships
      • Exceptional interpersonal skills and mastery of working in a matrixed environment, with the ability to perform in a highly visible.
      • Track record of strong networking and working collaboratively across functions and geographies

      Work Location Assignment: Flexible

      The annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,900.00 to $189,700.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Pfizer compensation structures and benefit packages are aligned locally, the US Salary range provided does not apply to the Tampa, FL or any EXUS locations.

      Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
