What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the development of software infrastructure to support the creation of agentic systems
- Ensure compliance of research activities with institutional, state, and federal regulatory policies
- Manage the production of articles, reports, and manuscripts, and present findings at conferences
- Define high-level research goals and technical direction for product initiatives
- Build relationships with other AI/ML and data infrastructure community efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD in a related field
- 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Specialized knowledge in developing AI/ML solutions in the sciences
- Proven research record of scholarly contributions through publications
- Experience working with high-performance and distributed computing environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Ph.D. in Computer Science strongly preferred
- Experience leading the design, development, and publication of innovative AI/ML projects
- Relevant programming experience in Python for developing and maintaining applications
- Experience in distributed data management and workflow systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
