Agile Delivery Coach
Salary: £75,000 - £90,000
6-Month Fixed Term Contract
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Agile Delivery Coach to become part of the IT data community within Aviva. You will join at an exciting time for our data platforms and services, which form a core pillar of the organisational strategy, and are the focal point for multiple key initiatives over the coming years.
The role of the Agile Delivery Coach is to support the Aviva Data and Analytics (DAP) teams with development of their Agile approach. This is a 6-month fixed term contract to help step-change our delivery capability and improve our understanding of our change effectiveness. The DAP teams have differing Agile capabilities and levels of maturity. The focus of the role will be to ensure that Agile values and principles are well understood and sufficiently embedded within DAP to ensure a continuous focus on improvement and development of Agile maturity.
There may be the opportunity for this role to be extended or made permanent post the end of the FTC.
A bit about the job:
Collaborating with delivery teams, we strategize the adoption of Agile best practices. We provide coaching at all levels to help staff implement and sustain Agile principles effectively. Leading by example, we actively engage with DAP delivery teams and serve as role models for Agile values, principles, and practices.
In this role you will be championing the use of metrics and objective measures across teams, ensuring that delivery teams collect relevant data every sprint to inform future planning and continuous improvement. Coaching key stakeholders on their roles within Agile change delivery is crucial, as is sharing best practices across teams to enhance the Agile framework continuously. You will advocate for a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals within change delivery teams, and optimizing processes for effective delivery.
Assisting DAP delivery teams in setting up Agile delivery that meets Aviva governance needs is a priority. Through training and coaching, we ensure all team members are prepared to engage in change delivery activities using Agile techniques. We also provide practical solutions for teams facing constraints that hinder Agile delivery, such as limited development environments.
