      Agreement Sales Manager, Asia Pacific

      To further support and drive continued profitable, we are looking for Agreement Sales Manager Asia Pacific based on Laem Chabang, Thailand or Jakarta, Indonesia.

Create new sales opportunities together with customer and colleagues in Regions and Business units. Strong communication skills, commercial mindset and passion to serve our customers, excellent in negotiation skills and ability to readiness to travel in cross cultural countries in Asia Pacific and other continents as required. Able to work and handle high pressure situations.

      Job description:

      Do you enjoy driving top-line growth, as-sold profitability improvement, customer satisfaction, and market share increase? You will lead AP SER agreement sales activities and sell customer centric solutions by driving top-line and profitability growth, customer satisfaction of agreement offering in AP, and utilizing customer industry specific and solution selling approach including multi-business unit offering for our agreements.

      You, as individual contributor, will

      • Lead and drive AP SER agreements in matrix collaborating with region agreement responsible persons and their network.
      • Manage Agreement sales projects according to the Valmet agreement sales process and Way to Operate.
      • Define and sell best economical and technical solutions to the customer needs.
      • Respond customer requests proactively and fast in sync with customer´s purchasing process (feasibility).
      • Support regions to succeed in agreements sales and participate key sales cases as required.

      • You will have sales responsibility and budget (volume and profitability) within agreement offering by.
      • Defining agreement sales scope.
      • Organizing and leading agreement sales cases with required technology know-how and connect other stakeholders for best sales results including multi-Business Unit (BU) sales and Valmet Industrial Internet (VII).
      • Responsible for bringing all Valmet technology as part of the agreements.
      • Keep Mill teams and other stakeholders informed ensuring success of sales for agreement offering.
      • Supporting capital sales with required Agreement offering & knowhow on designated technology area
      • Ensuring positive market share development for designated offerings
      • Ensuring customer feedback on offerings are taken into offering development process.
      • Competitor follow-up.

      You will report to Business Manager, Performance Parts and Agreement Sales, Asia Pacific and have opportunities to travel extensively around Asia Pacific countries, learn technology and work with global professional team.

      Requirements:

      Beside of your engaged, self-motivated active team player with "can do" attitude, you are equipped with:

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Papermaking or Engineering-related science.
      • 10+ years of experience in working with paper industry and exposed in Agreement Sales.
      • Proven ability to succeed and create profitable solutions, including achieving results in high pressure situations.
      • Good interpersonal skills, leadership capability to lead (virtual) team even in matrixed organization.
      • Experience and knowledge of key cultural differences and ability to adapt communication style accordingly. Skilled at working across global boundaries.
      • Good communication skills in English, as well as presentation and facilitation skills.
      • Willingness and ability to travel.
      • Preparedness to develop your colleagues for future development.
