Agronomic Solution Manager

We're looking for an Agronomic Solution Manager to join the Field Solutions Team The main geographical scope for the position will be Belgium and the Netherlands. The position will be placed in the Product Agronomy Weed Management hub.

As an Agronomic Solution Manager, you will belong to a highly motivated team of different nationalities (EMEA). You will be responsible for the development of plant protection products for an assigned portfolio mainly for Belgium and the Netherlands. You will be working closely together with colleagues from other R&D capability centers like the local trial team and the commercial organization.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of tailor-made, innovative crop protection solutions (chemical, biological products, biostimulants and new methodologies of application) mainly for Belgium and the Netherlands for arable crops within the segments fungicides, herbicides, seed treatment and plant growth regulators
• Define and implement product development strategies in the assigned segment to ensure an optimized time-to-market process in close collaboration with other R&D capability centers and the commercial organization
• Coordinate all development activities, including planning, trial samples, and trial evaluation to obtain product registrations for the assigned portfolio
• Actively contribute to zonal/European development projects as a member of the respective product teams and communities on European and national level
• Maintain proximity to the local markets to anticipate customer needs and trends in the marketplace
• Cooperate with key stakeholders, as official institutes, universities, external trial cooperators, and key opinion leaders

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree or equivalent in agriculture, horticulure or biological sciences
• Solid knowledge of Arable crops and practical cropping systems as well as good experience with field trials and field-testing methodology and experience in working with development of crop protection solutions
• Strong analytical, project management and digital skills and result oriented
• Good team player and enjoy working in cross-functional teams across countries and cultures
• Good networking and communications skills
• Fluent written and spoken English and Dutch, French is a plus
• Structured and energetic in your approach to taks and enjoy working in a team with highly engaged people
• Able to deliver results in a high quality and under existing agreements, even in busy periods
• Autonomous and at the same time a team player who focuses on collaboration and achieving shared goals
• Furthermore you are analytically strong, profonde in project management, flexible and have an enterprise mindset
