What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research and development of multimodal AI models to establish new industry standards
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate AI models into market-driven solutions
- Build large language models (LLMs) and other large models from scratch, including writing model code and optimizing training
- Gather and prepare training data for AI model development
- Utilize programming skills in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and JAX
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in Computer Science; PhD in NLP, Machine Learning, or a related field is ideal
- Proven track record in AI research and development with publications in A* conferences
- Experience in building large models from scratch, including code writing and data gathering
- Strong expertise in NLP and multimodal learning
- Proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, and CUDA toolkit
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated ability to optimize training and inference processes
- Experience working with edge devices like mobile phones and laptops
- Familiarity with privacy-preserving approaches in AI development
