      The Adjutant General’s Department is looking for an experienced Air Quality Technician 1 who will work in the

      What You'll Do:

      • Repairs air conditioning (e.g., central and window) and heating units (e.g., furnaces and boiler systems up to 15 P.S.I.)
      • Air handlers, refrigeration systems, pneumatic heating & air conditioning & direct digital controls (DDC), pumps, fans and other subparts of the total heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
      • Installs, repairs and maintains DDC system components on HVAC systems (i.e., reads, interprets and analyzes DDC end user computer display and makes corrections as necessary).
      • Performs periodic inspections of air conditioning system, refrigeration and heating systems and performs preventive maintenance

      Salary Information:

      This position is assigned as an 08 of the State of Ohio’s E1 pay schedule. Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary shall be the minimum salary of that pay range unless the selected candidates exceeds the minimum qualifications which shall be considered. The salary range provides a standardized pathway for salary increases. With continued employment and satisfactory performance, new hires advance to the next step of pay range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of living adjustments usually occur at the beginning of the fiscal year (July 1). The current step progression wages are in the table below.
