Provide clear advice to the business on all technical matters relating to the Airbus fleet of aircraft, providing a structured approach to the resolution of any technical issues arising.
Develop processes and procedures as required to support the technical operation of the Network Aviation Airbus fleet and interface with key stakeholders.
Review and assess service literature from aircraft and component OEM’s for aircraft being managed to understand airworthiness requirements and to maintain compliance with Part 42 regulations.
Utilise support systems for ongoing fleet management, including but not limited to Citrix, TRAX, DMS, Airbus World, Skywise, SHM, ChroniX, eDoc Browser and Content Locker.
Coordinate the submission of engineering work requests to Part 21 suppliers for delivery of engineering designs to support the ongoing configuration management of the fleet for standardisation and continuous improvement.
Create task cards and engineering controls within TRAX for acquittal and management of fleet technical requirements.
Act as the key interface between NAA CAMO and Jetstar Technical Services for business unit requirements, ensuring future demands are coordinated and delivered to support the management of continuing airworthiness and future growth.
Provide coordination of troubleshooting advice to the supporting AMOs for AOG or maintenance events as required.
Provide input to repetitive and recurrent defect analysis to support the company’s Reliability and Maintenance programmes.
Support the delivery of technical requirements associated with the introduction of a new aircraft into the Network Aviation fleet.
Perform the key functions of the Airbus Fleet Coordinator (CAMO) role as required to ensure business continuity when required for leave coverage or other absences.
Represent the CAMO for all A320 fleet activities or meetings where the Fleet Manager Airbus is unable to attend.
Conduct regular meetings with the Fleet Manager Airbus to review and discuss policy, procedures, compliance and to escalate any emerging issues or risks that require escalation.
Represent Network Aviation at regular technical meetings and forums held by Jetstar or other Group business units to ensure business interests are presented and outcomes delivered for our requirements.
3 years relevant experience in aircraft engineering or technical services
Experience at a high capacity passenger transport operator including service literature assessment, technical configuration management and use of compliance management platforms.
AME/LAME or professional engineer with tertiary qualifications in Aviation, Engineering or Management.
Detailed understanding and technical knowledge of the A320 family of aircraft and systems.
Experience with OEM and relevant service literature management
Sound knowledge of business management, business analysis and review techniques
Capable of identifying customer needs and resolving customer issues
Proven experience in fleet technical management positions
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, internal and external stakeholders
Process driven, with experience in constructing new processes to deliver business goals
Highly motivated and committed to continuous improvement
Experience with the use of TRAX as a Maintenance Information System is desired.

As the Airbus Technical Specialist, you will be responsible and accountable for the management and oversight of all technical aspects of the Network Aviation Airbus aircraft. This includes the review and assessment of service literature, coordination of modification programmes, identification of reliability initiatives and resolution of in-service issues to ensure a quality product is delivered to our customers whilst maintaining cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.
