- Competitive Pay: $25.56 to $26.36 per hour depending on experience.

- Safety & Inspections – Perform daily and periodic airfield inspections, identify and report hazards, issue NOTAMs, and ensure the airfield remains safe and operational under all weather conditions.
- Emergency Response & ARFF – Respond to airport emergencies, including Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF); serve as Incident Commander when needed and coordinate all emergency actions.
- Airfield Operations – Operate heavy equipment (e.g. graders, snowplows, loaders) and a variety of other equipment to perform maintenance and upkeep on runways, taxiways, lighting systems and airport grounds.
- Winter Operations & Communications – Coordinate snow removal operations, assess runway surface conditions, and communicate directly with pilots and FAA personnel.
- Contractor & Project Coordination – Support construction and maintenance projects by monitoring critical on-site work and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Security & Access Control – Manage airport gates and other access points, conduct regular perimeter security inspections.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in airport operations, facilities maintenance, or heavy equipment operation—or equivalent training and experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, heavy equipment, and FAA/airport regulations.
- Able to respond to emergencies anytime, including weekends and holidays.
- A team player with a strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and leadership skills.

- Valid Driver’s License (CDL Class A preferred).
- First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting -ARFF Certification (training provided).
- Basic and Advanced Airport Safety & Operations (ASOS) Certificates.
- SCBA Certification.
- Heavy Equipment Operation Training.
