      Summary

      Job Family Group Description - Sales / Omni-Channel:
      Combines all positions within the different sales channels: retail, wholesale and e-commerce. Also includes all activities to support store management.

      Job Family Description -Retail Operations:
      Supports the sales process – puts displays in place, keeps stock level inventory, payment transactions, fitting or garment alterations.

      Sub-Job Family Description - Stockroom:
      Supervises the warehouse supplying products to the sales floor or other stores. Monitors stock and inventory levels. Oversees logistics of shipping between the local warehouse and regional warehouses.

      Alexander McQueen is looking for 1 exceptional Stock Controller to join the team of La Samaritaine in fixed term contract.


      You'll Contribute to increase store turnover by participating to the merchandise flow management within the store and strictly follow all internal procedures in terms of logistics.

      How you will contribute:

      • Receive, check, label and store all merchandise being received
      • Ensure restocking, inventory tracking and storage (receipt, verification and placement of products in stock)
      • Ensure optimal organization of current and past collections storage space Monitor daily the number of items available on the sales floor (size, colour) and replenish as required
      • Prepare inter-store transfers and shipments in coordination with store manager Track packaging stock status
      • Ensure receipt and tracking of defective products
      • Participate in monthly cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
      • Participate in the fiscal physical inventory and investigate discrepancies
      • Occasionally help in store in case of temporary work overload (storage, small maintenance, etc.)
      • Handle all administrative procedures related to the merchandise flow
      • Work with all internal and external stakeholders with a versatile, professional approach.

      Your Skills and Experience:

      • House & values ambassador
      • Product knowledge and sales techniques, Rigor, sense of organization and priorities management
      • Excellent interpersonal skills
      • Availability, adaptability, sense of service, team spirit
      • Good knowledge of IT
      • Product sensitivity and a strong market and fashion trends knowledge would be an asset
      • English, third language appreciated
