What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with school staff to identify tutoring needs for Algebra and Geometry students
- Coordinate scheduling and matching of students with tutors
- Recruit, train, orient, and place tutors at the assigned school
- Track tutoring hours and complete weekly and quarterly reports on tutoring data
- Tutor students and provide classroom support in Algebra and Geometry courses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be 18 years or older
- U.S. Citizen or permanent resident status, per AmeriCorps regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to pass a National Service Criminal History Check
