What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure adherence to AML regulations and internal policies by continuously reviewing and updating procedures
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of customers and transactions to identify and mitigate potential AML risks
- Analyze AML data and trends to identify emerging risks and enhance detection capabilities
- Design and deliver training programs to raise awareness about AML procedures and best practices
- Develop and refine analytical models and tools for improved monitoring and risk assessment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in AML compliance or financial crime prevention within financial institutions
- Strong data analysis and correlation skills with proficiency in SQL and analytical tools (SAS, R, Python)
- In-depth understanding of AML regulations, policies, and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working effectively with multicultural and global teams
