      We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Business Operations team to be our new Analyst, Global Yield. In this role, you will be a central point-of-contact to provide real-time, in-depth business analysis for stakeholders across the globe. You will demonstrate a sophisticated level of data analytics, a validated understanding of Ad Yield, and an ability to present multi-sourced data sets to a broad audience in an easy-to-understand manner. The role requires a highly-motivated, proactive individual who is willing to own short, mid, and long-term projects that will directly and indirectly impact all aspects of Spotify’s Ad business.

      What You'll Do
      • Work in various ad systems, dashboards, and data sets to analyze data and recommend effective pricing, inventory, and yield strategies
      • Analyze advertising yield data at global/regional/country level across different products, audience segments, agencies, demand sources, etc.
      • Manage/audit dashboards to garner yield insights and proactively assess opportunities/risks
      • Assist Pricing & Inventory, Media Strategy, and Deal Operations counterparts as needed with troubleshooting and business-driving tasks
      • Share information out to key team members on weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
      • Work with cross-functional teams to drive systems/process efficiencies to speed go-to-market and revenue recognition
      • Provide insights to help drive effective, real-time yield strategies in each market
      • Partner closely with Analysts and Strategists across the larger Yield Strategy Team to help formulate yield and revenue management strategies and to amend these strategies as the marketplace dictates
      • Improve existing new systems/reports and drive the creation of new ones to provide business leaders with the vital data to make strategic yield-driving decisions.
      • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of Spotify advertising process/strategy and exhibit this in day-to-day work
      • Communicate positive and concerning trends in real time with senior leaders
      • Cover all other business needs as requested by the Head of Global Yield Strategy


      Who You Are
      • 3+ years working at a media company in Pricing, Inventory, Operations, Yield, Business Insights, or a similar role
      • Strategic problem solver and communicator who desires to dive deep into data analysis and deliver insights and strategies to a Sales-oriented audience
      • You have strong knowledge in ad operations systems and the programmatic landscape, with demonstrated experience in various ad serving, CRM, reporting, and analytical platforms (Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Programmatic Platforms, etc.)
      • You understand the technical foundations of digital media, podcasts and programmatic mediums and have the ability to proactively determine solutions to problems
      • You have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills and are eager to further refine and develop these skills
      • You are a highly-organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail, analytical and project management skills, and can work independently within a team focused organization
      • You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline and detailed-oriented environment
      • You believe in the power of teamwork, and are a great teammate
      • You have excellent dexterity with Google Drive and/or Microsoft suite of products including Excel and PowerPoint

      • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the EST time zone as long as we have a work location.

      The United States base range for this position is $65,156 to $93,080, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
