What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess brand, compliance, fraud, and financial risk to determine credit exposure risk on new and existing merchants
- Utilize business credit reports, financial documents, and investigative research tools for risk assessments
- Investigate and employ new sources of third-party data to evaluate merchant financial risk
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of credit, fraud, and chargeback trends by merchants
- Provide guidance on automating and improving merchant risk evaluation processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in assessing merchant risk in areas such as Merchant/Seller Risk Management, Fraud, Collections, or Merchant Underwriting
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional partners, particularly Sales and Business Development teams
- Proficient in reviewing financial documents, business credit reports, and payment processor statements
- Demonstrated ownership mentality with accountability, urgency, and execution
