What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms
- Perform basic malware analysis
- Develop and improve processes for incident detection and the execution of countermeasures
- Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management
- Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience working in a SOC, Malware Analysis, or Incident Response environment
- Strong understanding of incident handling and targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats and Organized Crime
- Background in computer forensic analysis using a variety of forensic analysis tools
- Capable of completing technical tasks without supervision
- Strong verbal and communication skills to explain difficult technical concepts to varying audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in programming/scripting languages such as C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET
- Knowledge of network protocols and analysis tools for network forensic analysis
- Ability to manage internal programs or teams effectively
- Desire to grow and expand both technical and soft skills
- Candidates with Japanese written and verbal skills are highly encouraged to apply
