What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and execute contract documents, ensuring accuracy and professionalism
- Provide administrative and analytical support during the procurement process
- Conduct and facilitate Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and Requests for Bids (RFB)
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
- Coordinate vendor meetings and manage solicitation activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- For Analyst II: Two (2) years of increasingly responsible professional staff analytic or administrative experience
- Experience in budget, finance, grant administration, organizational analysis, or human resources may substitute for education
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in public sector procurement and contracting
- Familiarity with e-Procurement systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive requests
- Experience drafting agreements and Council Memos
- Knowledge of applicable professional/technical principles and practices
