What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and analyze federal and state laws impacting government programs, ensuring compliance with legal obligations
- Provide guidance in developing policies and procedures to support operational compliance across teams
- Coordinate compliance audits, ensuring accurate and timely responses for Medicare Part C and Managed Medicaid
- Assist with onboarding new government program customers, integrating compliance requirements into operations
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managed care setting
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with managed care laws affecting Medicare Advantage and/or managed Medicaid
- Demonstrated experience in regulatory affairs and operations of HMOs and Managed Care Organizations
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage guidelines and state regulations applicable to Managed Medicaid
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree, JD, or paralegal experience preferred
- Advanced legal research skills and exceptional organizational and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
