      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Monitor and track federal and state laws impacting the employer's operations, preparing communications for affected business areas
      - Provide cross-functional support in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance
      - Secure and maintain required operational licenses
      - Identify continuous improvement opportunities for compliance tracking and reporting
      - Train and mentor new team members in the Compliance Department

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 7 years of experience in a managed care setting with knowledge of laws impacting workers’ compensation, auto, and/or commercial health insurers
      - Bachelor’s degree preferred; JD or paralegal experience is a plus
      - Expertise in regulations related to utilization management, claims, and network management
      - Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
      - Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in regulatory affairs and operations of HMOs or managed care organizations
      - Advanced legal research skills
      - In-depth knowledge of state and federal guidelines governing managed health care
      - Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and sound judgment in decision-making
