      What is the opportunity?

      The role will comprise working in RBC’s Leveraged Finance team. The Analyst will work with senior bankers in executing corporate finance, M&A and financing transactions across various sectors within the region and cross-border.

      What will you do?

      • Assisting in execution of mandated deals
      • Assisting in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials
      • Gathering public information through numerous sources
      • Creating financial model analyses
      • Analysing company performance on an absolute and relative basis
      • Drafting marketing documents for clients
      • Producing and maintaining various databases
      • General research

      What do you need to succeed?

      Must have

      • Experience within an Investment Banking team, ideally via internships or off cycle internships
      • Solid understanding of Capital Markets and spreadsheet modelling
      • Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of Corporate Finance and Accounting
      • Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests
      • Ability to take initiative and function independently, balanced with strong team skills
      • Strong written and oral communication, as well as, excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of organization
