      Overview

      Due to growth, we are adding an Analyst, Network Contracting Business Impact to our Pharmacy Network Contracting department.

      The Analyst, Network Contracting Business Impact will be responsible for leading departmental regulatory review and analysis, ongoing monitoring of newly introduced state or federal legislation, and networking contracting impact potential. The primary responsibilities of this role are to analyze proposed and enacted legislation related to pharmacy or PBM and provide direction to internal business partners on ways to ensure compliance.

      The Analyst, Network Contracting Business Impact will provide strategic direction to address potential non-compliance and advise the Network Contracting team on risk mitigation strategies. Additionally, the Analyst, Business Impact will work cross functionally with internal and external partners including clients, vendors, and pharmacy partners to ensure Navitus is fully complaint with all laws and regulations related to Navitus Pharmacy Networks. This position will be expected to be the subject matter expert for the department and be heavily involved with Navitus legal regarding identification and interpretation of proposed and existing regulatory requirements.

      Responsibilities

      How do I make an impact on my team?
      • Support the network contracting management division by identifying and analyzing all proposed and existing regulatory requirements which may impact PBM or pharmacy
      • Take the lead on any new business issues and opportunities generated by Government and/or Commercial laws, rules, regulations or guidelines that impact PBM or pharmacy
      • Plan, design, and deploy appropriate strategies and track progress
      • Establish and maintain engaged relationships with leadership of other functional areas within the corporation (can include Government Programs, Compliance, Legal, Networks, Clinical Operations, Member Materials, IT, etc.) to ensure effective collaboration, communication, and delivery of required regulatory compliance
      • Ensure successful implementation and execution of regulatory compliance requirements including project leadership and governance; ensure appropriate requirements are in place for new Client implementations
      • Recommend changes to policies and procedures based on regulatory changes
      • Complete ad hoc analyses and assist with special projects as directed by retail and specialty supervisors
      • Provide analyses and support client facing presentations including occasional direct client discussions
      • Other duties as assigned


      Qualifications

      What our team expects from you?
      • Bachelor's degree in legal studies, business or related field is preferred
      • Experience reviewing and interpreting regulatory language required
      • Experience with CMS, Medicare, and state Medicaid regulations and guidance required
      • Minimum one year of database management experience required
      • Background in legal, business, or finance required
      • Knowledge of health care processes and pharmaceutical claims adjudication systems required
      • Experience in Retail Pharmacy and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or Managed Care preferred
      • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
      • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
