- A passion and interest in Capital Market / Financial Market space
- Exceptional communication, organized, able to multi-task, work well under pressure.
- Experience in Python, Data Analytics and Modeling, VBA, Excel, Power BI, Project experience, ADP, 6 Sigma, Broadridge, ION product, Murex, Xceptor, smart stream products – TLM, gloss, and Loan IQ (Finastra) is considered an asset
- Knowledge of WSS application, AML, OFAC Compliance regulations, ICC rules, ISP98, URDG 758 and UCP 600 is considered an asset
- Proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to overcome challenges presented by a constantly changing work environment
- Must be ready to start full time at time of application

Your GWO Experience:
As an Analyst in Global Wholesale Operations, you will ensure specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. As well as ensure that all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. As an operation’s professional, GWO will provide you the opportunity for hands-on learning about the role of Operations in the trade lifecycle, data analysis, and process improvement. We empower our team to ensure Scotiabank remains efficient, effective, and innovative.
