      The Pricing Analyst collects consolidates and analyzes sales and pricing data to evaluate HVAC product and price positioning relative to marketplace, competitor positions and customer needs. The Pricing Analyst analyzes data on established customers and products to recommend opportunities for sales and pricing strategies and tactics. In addition, evaluates pricing relative to product positioning and marketplace conditions determining increased sales opportunities. Reviews, revises and maintains product and pricing related data in the Mapics and Mincron systems. This position will be results orientated and possess dedication to excellence and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives.

      Position Responsibilities may include:
      • Extensive Mapics and Mincron system knowledge is required to properly review, revise and update product attributes and assign the correct associated product pricing
      • Analyze, develop and communicate pricing-related updates and recommendations
      • Consolidate, review and revise new and existing products and associated pricing throughout all ERP systems
      • Analyze data on new and established customers and products
      • Analyze margin impact of product price positioning
      • Analyze pricing, product and sales trends to determine price positioning and profitability
      • Evaluate products and price positioning relative to the marketplace
      • Collect and analyze pricing data for Divisional Presidents
      • Provide analytical support to field sales on pricing and promotional decisions
      • Maintain integrity of the Base pricing and Price Books in the system
      • Revise and review Price books for accuracy and completeness
      • Respond to the customers' pricing inquiries
      • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure all Base and Distributor Prices are complete prior to production
      • Develop models to track and report sales relative to pricing decisions
      • Assist Pricing and Marketing groups in ad hoc analysis
      • Develop solid understanding of products and related pricing structures
      • Develop controls and procedures as required to safeguard and enhance company profitability
      • Assist Credit Group in analyzing and approving invoices and credits
      • Responsible for evaluating requests for credits/price adjustments
      • Perform additional duties as assigned
      • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.

      • Possesses a broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education
      • Has no discretion to deviate from established procedures by performing structured work assignments
      • Work is closely supervised

      • Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area

      Knowledge & Skills:

      Experience:
      • 2 plus years of experience

      Education/Certification:
      • High school diploma or GED equivalent
      • Bachelor's degree preferred

      People Management: No

      Salary: $56,550.00 to $68,470.00
