What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Enter and maintain record royalty rates and render statements for record label clients
- Review and analyze recording and producer agreements to summarize applicable royalty rates
- Perform fund calculations and recoupment analyses for third-party recipients
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Process and review artist royalty statements to ensure accuracy and timely issuance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required
- 0 to 2 years of experience in the administration and analysis of artist royalties
- Strong computer skills, particularly in data entry and analysis, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access is preferred but not required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
