- Process a variety of trade finance instruments, including letters of credit, documentary collection and standby letter ofcredit / guarantees.
- Accurately input data from client’s application and relevant documentation into the trade finance systems.
- Ensure that transactions are executed in a timely and accurate manner, in adherence with established service levelagreement.
- Collaborate with the trade finance service team, and other internal stakeholders to facilitate the seamless flow oftransactions.
- Develops and maintains an expert level knowledge of trade finance products and services.
- Continuously provide a high level of Customer service while ensuring that operational and documentaryrequirements are met while mitigating bank risk and customer risk.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy,adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operationalrisk, regulatory compliance risk, AMUATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities underthe Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AMUATFGlobal Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct
- Sound knowledge of Trade Finance Products
- Bilingual French and/or Spanish is an asset
- Strong Customer Service Focus.
- Good working knowledge of ICC rules, ISP98, URDG 758, URC525 and UCP 600.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)

Purpose:The Trade Finance Processing Analyst will play a crucial role in facilitating, managing trade finance transactions and contributes to the overall success of the Trade Services Centre-Toronto. The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient processing of trade finance instruments, documentation and related activities. Ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
