Job Description
- Req#: 10814
- To assist coordinating method transfers, method improvements and analytical investigations.
- To contribute to an expert team in analytical validation and method troubleshooting.
- To complete any validation support requests in a timely manner to support Site Validation plans.
- To ensure analytical test method transfers are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
- To perform any maintenance tasks required to ensure that analytical methods are maintained in a validated state.
- To keep laboratory documentation up to date in line with data integrity requirements.
- BSc Chemistry (or related science-based qualification)
- Experience in an analytical role
- Experience of problem solving with a strong attention to detail

About the Role:
This role within the AS&T team is primarily involved in the maintenance and improvement of analytical test methods through redevelopment and validation within agreed timelines and to the required standards, working closely with the Senior Scientist. Other duties include the development and validation of methods for cleaning validation, method transfer and analytical investigation of laboratory, manufacturing, and filling issues.
While carrying out the role it is expected that the Scientist will interact with other teams, particularly within QC but also including MS&T and production to better understand any issues and provide the level of service required. Attendance at project meetings to offer analytical guidance and support may occasionally be requested
