What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify real-time fraud threats through alerts or reports and conduct case reviews
- Utilize data analytics tools to detect patterns and trends indicating potential fraudulent activity
- Manage and lead incident processes, including investigating flagged transactions and verifying customer activities
- Document case findings and trends to assist in program enhancements and reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams and inform leadership of recurring issues to improve detection strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of cumulative, relevant experience in fraud analysis or related field
- Advanced professional expertise with functional knowledge of fraud prevention
- Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations during investigations
- Strong documentation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with internal stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a financial services or insurance company
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and fraud detection software
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Experience with project management and special projects related to fraud prevention
