What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify concerns for human trafficking and ensure continuity of services for unaccompanied children released from ORR care
- Refer, coordinate, and link children to local, state, and national human trafficking agencies and resources
- Support best interest recommendations and well-being of child victims of human trafficking
- Establish working relationships with local, national, and community-based organizations responsible for social services
- Provide case management approach for assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields or related fields with 3 years of progressive employment experience
- Knowledge of local and national community social services, human trafficking agencies, and working with immigrant populations
- Knowledge of social service and OTIP referral process and eligibility letter benefits
- Familiarity with family preservation, kinship care, and general child welfare
- Highly proficient in Spanish or access to qualified interpreters
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with victims of human trafficking and identifying human trafficking concerns
- Prior experience with ORR HS/PRS and OTIP
