      Antitrust Mid-Level Associate Job Description

      Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is seeking highly qualified mid-level associates with law firm or US agency experience to join our award-winning US Antitrust, Competition & Trade practice in the Washington, D.C, New York, or Silicon Valley offices. Ideal candidates will have between 2 – 5 years of experience and excellent academic credentials.

      Candidates should have transactional antitrust experience, including HSR and deal counseling, and merger investigations before the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Justice, and other enforcement agencies. Experience with other substantive antitrust compliance counseling and agency-facing work is also desired. Candidates must exhibit excellent research and writing skills, academic performance, and an ability to multi-tasks across matters.

      The US antitrust team is a dynamic and growing practice, and we represent clients across all industry sectors and work closely and collaboratively with our colleagues around the globe. We are looking for candidates who share our value of collegiality and inclusivity, enjoy mentoring junior associates, and are eager to think creatively and contribute to our sophisticated and cutting-edge work. Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York, California, or District of Columbia.

      Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer US LLP associates are compensated based on leading market rates.

      A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $235,000 - $390,000.
