    • Description: Glen Ellyn Community Consolidated School District 89 is seeking a full-time Middle School French Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

      Summary: As a middle school French and Literacy teacher, you will work with middle school students part of your day teaching basic French and part of your day assisting with English Language Literacy. This is achieved by developing lessons plans focused on essentials skills to speak, read, and write French. Middle school French students should acquire the fundamentals of the French language along with learning about the culture. Further, as a middle school literacy teacher, you are responsible for understanding the progression of the common core reading, writing, listening, and speaking standards in the middle school years to be able to best approach language education.

      Qualifications: All applicants for this position are required to meet Illinois requirements for Middle School Teaching which includes Professional Educator’s License (PEL) with Middle School. Language and French endorsements.
