- Apply the Analyst concepts of the Data Development lifecycle to daily work activities
- Develop knowledge specific to the PERSON Data domain, including Searching Matching, Suspect Duplicate Processing, record merging, and other PERSON data concepts
- Assist with the implementation, administration, and support of an enterprise Data Governance application. Working with representation from various data domains to establish Data Catalogs, Metadata enrichment, Workflow support, and related best practices
- Expand their knowledge of webservices and integrations with other applications. This will include JSON / XML testing, AUTHN and AUTHZ concepts, and webservice maintenance
- Excellent analytical and verbal/written skills
- Ability to maintain sensitivity and attention to detail in handling confidential information
- Should be well organized
- Experience with Project Requirements elicitation and familiarity with testing documentation preferred
- Experience using SQL for relational database queries preferred

Job Description: UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry-level Application Analyst I to join the Data Platform and Analytics team, a unit within UFIT.
Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community.The Data Platform and Analytics team is comprised of individual working groups: Data Engineering, Data Science, Reporting, and the Master Data / Data Integrations / Data Governance teams. This position is with the Master Data / Data Integrations / Data Governance team. Ideal candidates will work with fellow analysts in understanding, creating, and documenting data concepts and analysis, requirements elicitation, test case use and processing, and customer interactions.

Full-time TEAMS employees will accrue vacation leave at a rate of 6.769 hours biweekly/22 days annually and sick leave at a rate of 4 hours biweekly/13 days annually. In addition, employees are eligible for ten paid holidays each year.
Vacation accruing TEAMS employees are eligible for four personal leave days/32 hours per year, assuming full-time status, and are intended to give the flexibility to enable units to close from December 26 to 31 when possible, determined on a unit-by-unit basis.

Expected Salary: $52,500 – $58,000; commensurate based on education and experience.
Minimum Requirements: Associate’s degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
