      SUMMARY

      The Application Developer is responsible for supporting business operations by ensuring reliable reporting, efficient automation, and timely resolution of application-related support requests such as developing and maintaining SSRS reports, managing automated workflows through the JAMS Enterprise Scheduler, and providing operational support for internally developed applications. Additionally, this role offers firsthand experience across reporting, robotic process automation, and application operations, with strong potential for growth into application development or DevOps engineering.

      TECHNOLOGY STACK

      • Microsoft SQL Server.
      • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
      • JAMS Enterprise Scheduler (Fortra).
      • .NET / C# and PowerShell for automation scripting.
      • Azure DevOps for source control, pipelines, and collaboration.
      • Windows Server and Azure environments.

      KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

      • Monitors, triages, and responds to tickets assigned to the Application Development team.
      • Designs, builds, and updates SSRS reports to support business reporting needs.
      • Configures, tests, and maintains JAMS jobs, triggers, and schedules for automated processes.
      • Troubleshoots and resolves tier-1 break/fix issues related to reports, jobs, or scheduled workflows.
      • Maintains documentation for reports, JAMS jobs, and recurring operational processes.
      • Participates in application deployments, testing, and version control activities as needed.

      WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

      • Collaborates with developers and business analysts to translate requirements into operational workflows.
      • Contact as needed with clients regarding general information, resolution of issues, inquiries, or reporting requirements.
      • Contact with members of team and internal teams regarding follow-up on inquiries, open workflow, etc.

      May perform other duties as required and assigned.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

      • 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS.
      • Experience scripting in PowerShell or C# for automation tasks.
      • Exposure to Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.

      KNOWLEDGE

      • RPA concepts and operational workflows.
      • .NET application architecture or basic development principles.
      • Job scheduling or robotic process automation tools (JAMS).
      • SQL queries and stored procedures.
      • Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Adobe Acrobat.
