      The Role

      The Airport Development Team manage a significant proportion of the total easyJet external spend (circ £1billion per annum), covering all elements of airport charges and spend.

      What you’ll be doing:

      You will manage a portfolio of airports and be responsible for the management of the cost base, negotiating contracts, supplier relationships and driving cost saving programmes across your portfolio of airports.

      Develop and implement clear strategies and develop innovative initiatives to drive value on the airport spend.

      Build relationships at board level and Influence a range of key internal stakeholders to leverage and gain buy in.

      Support the business with negotiating airport charges, securing low cost deals and unlocking capacity at constrained airports and monitoring financial performance.

      You will also maximise support available from airports, tourism boards, development agencies and business development groups for new route development, leverage short term capacity changes and new routes to cost advantage.

      Ensure appropriate contracts are in place for all airports within the portfolio assigned, including diversion contracts.

      Manage cross functionally a group among our top 30 airports to drive incremental value in cost and infrastructure.

      How you will do it:

      This role requires a commercially astute individual who is meticulous to detail and has a track record of negotiation on complex, high-value contracts and commercial agreements

      You will be a strategic thinker with an out of the box approach to the business and be willing to push boundaries

      With excellent communications skills you will have a natural ability to develop and manage internal and external relationships effectively at a variety of levels (up to CEO)

      The role requires substantial travel across out network (up to 40%) and with that a 2nd language French, Spanish, Italian or German is desirable.

      We support hybrid working and we spend 3 days per week in the office at our Luton HQ
