What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule appointments and meet with existing customers to review applications and product requirements
- Conduct sales presentations and effectively communicate customer needs to the team
- Liaise between the company and customers regarding pricing, service, and product launches
- Generate and develop prospect accounts to increase revenue through the distribution chain
- Prepare reports for sales and marketing while maintaining customer account updates
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-3 years of strong manufacturing background with a focus on milling, turning, and grooving
- Knowledgeable in tooling and the manufacturing process
- Experience in job shop environments and assisting customers with processing parts
- Proven ability to develop new customer relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and effective communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in any field related to sales and marketing is highly regarded
- Experience in designing special tools is a plus
- Familiarity with account management for current customers
- Ability to assist customers with proper speeds and feeds for materials used
- Experience processing customer parts from drawing to finished product
