What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather and analyze user needs for developing and modifying clinical or business applications in the healthcare environment
- Provide complex application support and write documentation and specifications
- Analyze complex results and propose solutions or recommendations
- Build, configure, and modify applications using existing application tools
- Serve as a resource for resolving complex problems and issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in a health, science, or business field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in information applications, including one year performing programming or applications analysis
- Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Epic Certification is required; Epic Radiant certification is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for advising and consulting with user personnel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Experience teaching analysis and problem-solving principles to IT staff
- Familiarity with problem analysis, hardware/software configurations, and application integration
- Proven ability to train end users and project teams on application functionality and design standards
- Excellent organizational skills demonstrating confidence and creativity
