What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and maintain SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases to ensure performance, availability, security, and integrity
- Collaborate with development teams to design data management protocols and oversee the information lifecycle
- Analyze database performance and report against key performance metrics
- Develop and implement database migration procedures and maintain backup plans
- Troubleshoot SQL and application failures, ensuring compliance with service level agreements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree plus 8 or more years of programming and analytical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing SQL Server and cloud-based databases
- Microsoft Certified in Azure Data Fundamentals and Azure Database Administrator Associate
- Ability to document database configurations and adhere to policies and procedures
- Valid Level One fingerprint clearance card required

- Experience with Azure SQL and PostgreSQL databases
- Strong performance tuning and optimization skills
- Familiarity with database security best practices and backup/recovery procedures
- Proven ability to organize and coordinate activities across multiple departments
