- The JPMWM Distributed batch comprises of an overnight Autosys and ControlM driven batch that loads client, account, position, activity and balances data for ChaseOnline and Advisor suite of Applications such as - Advisor Central, Client Central and Business Central.
- The Application support includes support of 75+ applications across 12 products such as Self Directed and Automated Investing, Wealth Management, Annuities and Insurance, Wealth Management Statements and Tax, WM Credit, WM Servicing, Annuities and Insurance, etc
- The Application Support personnel will handle the day-to-day application support activities for JPMWM, its applications and its overnight batches.
- Requires a hands-on person with strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Managing a fast-paced queue of support inquiries and requests
- Communicating via phone and email with users and stakeholders to review issues and determine solutions
- Responsible for tracking defects and change request progress and communicating progress on requests
- Ensure solutions found are documented in the knowledge database suitable for use by the support team.
- May be requested to write database extracts, and manage or perform small tactical developments and bug fixes.
- On-call support and handling issues as per business priority
- Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Understanding of architecture and design across all systems.
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets.
- 6+ years experience with at least 1 year of development experience
- Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages: UNIX/Perl/Python scripting
- Strong database coding/ debugging skills - Oracle PL/SQL, Sybase, Cassandra.
- Experience with CTRL-M/Autosys scheduler.
- Knowledge/ Experience in Automation tool such as Selenium, UFT; in a web-based distributed client server environment (J2E, IBM's WebSphere, MQ, Mule)
- Understanding of Cloud Architecture and experience on AWS, Azure, Google cloud, etc.
- Strong monitoring, analytical and escalation skills, strong debugging and trouble shooting skills
- Knowledge on monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Geneos, Splunk, AppDynamics etc.
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- Good written and oral communication skills
- BS/BA degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
- Familiarity working with geographically dispersed teams
- Knowledge of financial products and core banking processes.
- Ability to work in flexible work hours as we have weekend support (rota) and adhoc support requirement to cover implementation/ migration/ holidays etc.
